Who wants to do a 5 day liquid diet with me for "fun"?! It will keep you from eating candy on Halloween! I promise I won't cheat! I feel like I've been eating too much "junk" lately and the liquid diet helps me kick that sugar craving. Last time I did 5 days of shakes I didn't want any sugar for weeks. We can do update pictures and it will make food planning super easy!!! My family are complete party poopers and won't do it with me. I did it by myself before so I'm sure I can do it again I just thought it might be fun to do it together.....as fun as self torture can be anyway. I'm going to get my shakes tomorrow and get this party started.

@@byebyedarkpassenger Our team is growing! It doesn't really matter when you start just jump in! I didn't plan this so well. I didn't think anyone would want to do it so I just thought "well I may as well ask" and here you all are! It's actually pretty fun and it's keeping me ultra motivated!

My weigh in days are Wednesdays and Sundays- it was very hard not to peek, probably will be even harder tomorrow! I half expect to lose nothing since the calories will be so lo, but part of me has hope. I love this because I don't have to plan what I'm gonna eat. It takes some of the decisions out of my day.

I am going to CAVE to the peer pressure that is this thread in a modified form.

Today I will have only liquids (coffee, coke zero, honey whiskey, cheese dip), protein (meatballs, chicken wings, sausage dip) and NO CARBS. Halloween party tonight.

Not even one mini snickers. Sigh.

Man, that is going to be one really messy Trick-or-Treat bag. :)

I'm tempted as well! I feel frustrated because I'm just not losing much anymore. The scale even went up a couple pounds this week. The most annoying thing is that I'm not eating anything bad!!!!!! I still eat the same stuff I always have. I don't know. Maybe in snacking too much??

I did okay yesterday UNTIL I got home and hubby cooked BACON on the grill!!! I had two pieces with my smoothie and a couple of spoons of hummus as a "dip".

I stopped my BP meds a couple of days ago and I am eating a Protein bar in the morning (4-5am) today to get the extra energy to make it through - I am on going all liquid now.

Water isn't the problem for me...its getting to the bathroom and not "puddling" on the way if someone stops me!!!!!

@@Elode thanks I needed this extra challenge and reminder about the "junk" and necessity of water!!!

@@Elode isn't that always the way?!?! Good job staying strong!!!!

Had another chai/pumpkin/almond milk shake this morning and now waiting for my car to be serviced with my water bottle and the smallest cup of coffee in existence! post-194772-14462176570346_thumb.jpg

Although the five day liquid diet is a very admirable endeavor, it is not for me right now. Even though getting five pounds below goal would allow me some wiggle room, it would make my face even more bony. Besides, I'll be forced into doing liquids sometime this year when the flu or strep come around. I'm around kids constantly and it happens every year.

I did a full six weeks of fluids (two weeks pre op plus one month post op) and I was practically gnawing on my arm toward the end of it. My last ten pounds was coming off slowly, so I used garcinia cambogia (citrimax) along with afternoon coffee for a few weeks. It seemed to help.

I've given in to a few pieces of Halloween candy these past few days. My street is wildly popular on Halloween night and we usually get around 200 kids. I've tried hiding the candy from myself with no avail. I'm actually looking forward to getting rid of it all.

Iced coffee shake for lunch! I scoop Syntrax matrix vanilla and two packets Starbucks via shaken with water and poured over ice!

Finally home! Things I've learned today 1) My staff love me a bit too much, if they could kill me with sugar I would be dead. 2) I'm almost positive one of them is on here spying on me, they secretly knew I was going to be on liquids so they spoke with my mother and made a list of all the things I love and brought them to me as "gifts". 3) Now that I've thought about it number 1 should be changed to they HATE me! 4) Drinking 32 oz's of water on the two hour drive to work was a big mistake....huge! Unless I want to get up 30 mins earlier to make up for all the "pit stops" along the way that just can't happen again. 5) freaking out on the HWY and cussing at the poor Honda Civic in front of me at 3am because I really need to "go" due to # 4 is neither cute or appropriate. I even flipped my badge around "just in case" they could read my lips or even see me in the dark. God was cringing, I could feel it. 6) I OBVIOUSLY didn't make it clear to my husband that I don't want to see, smell or hear about food. (Thank you Jesus for still loving a foul mouth) Oh but he gets it now. 7) Hiding the kids Halloween candy is a traumatic experience for a 6 year old. His life pretty much flashed before his eyes when it was "missing". 8) Teach said 6 year old to make his own PB sandwich, nobody needs to smell that nonsense! 9) Always have a alcoholic beverage on hand for the poor neglected, harassed husband so he can deal with my "crazy" (liquid diet) because "Sprite alone will end us up in divorce court". 10) I'm stronger than I though! Everyone else may be feeling the pain but I'm happy as can be over here! I don't know what their problem is? I haven't killed anyone yet so I would suggest they all just stop being so horrible to me!!!! I'm winning today! NOT ONE CHEAT!!!! Now on to this H2oooooooo!
