  1. This is me too, unfortunately. Sleeved in 2016 and have seen steady incline—most rapidly in the past four months. My first step was to go to my surgeon’s office, talk about the program with someone that understands what I’m supposed to be doing (I’ve had almost zero group support). Now I’m back here, trying to refocus and get healthy again!
  2. 176--not my Easter Challenge goal, but 1 lb from my doc's goal for me [emoji16]
  3. I had/have the same problem since having a kid and use descreet pads. Really just a regular pad that blocks odors. I can say that, since losing 70 pounds, it has gotten considerably better. Good luck with your exercise--that's great that you're getting out there!
  4. Good luck to you @@Elode! Sounds like a stressful time for you, but you can get through it! [emoji16][emoji106]????
  5. 182.6 [emoji30] Need to get my butt in gear!
  6. Hello fellow October '15 sleevers! Found this list of snack ideas and there are few in there that sounded good, that I hadn't thought of, some maybe amped up with a little unflavored protein. Anyway, thought I'd share: http://greatist.com/health/100-calorie-snacks
  7. Weighing in today at 181.6. May I change my goal weight to 170, please? [emoji16]
  8. Good to know there might be more options out there, thanks
  9. You're right. I think if there was a huge financial strain, it would really distract me and make me uncomfortable. I've known since I was very young that I needed therapy, but have ignored it bc I didn't want to deal with my issues. This opportunity has really made me want to focus on the positive experience and depression and compulsive eating is getting in the way.
  10. I agree, having someone familiar with eating issues and bariatric surgery would be ideal. I really liked the doc I went to pre-op for the psych eval, but she isn't in-network unfortunately and finances are definitely a factor.
  11. Thank you--that's a great place to start.
  12. How did y'all go about finding a good therapist? I would ask my surgeon's office, but they are out of town and I need to be in-town/in-network. I've googled my area, but there are so many I don't know where to start.
  13. @@bdcsail, do you mind me asking who your surgeon was? Or do you have surgeon recommendations? I'm still quite a ways away from plastics, but thought I'd start researching and Toronto isn't that far from me. TIA!
  14. Check out this blog from bp member @@Smye http://barideliciousfood.blogspot.com/?m=1 He also likes to cook without all the chemicals that come with "sugar free."
  15. New meat snacks ???? http://www.buzzfeed.com/venessawong/new-frontier-in-low-carb-snacking#.mfBdpPdqm
  16. Hi all! Oct 14 surgery here (stats: 234 sw/186 cw). I'm wondering what everyone is eating these days. Looking for quick and easy snack and meal ideas. TIA
  17. I told them I needed surgery (didn't say what) and took a week and a half off. I wish I would have taken a full 2 weeks or maybe even 3. I was just so tired and would have dizzy spells at work bc I wasn't concentrating on getting my fluids in. But you'll find that everyone will give you a different answer bc everyone recovers differently. Good luck!
  18. Lol, I think anyone can say that about any size anything. I literally just said that yesterday when I was looking for a large. Granted I was looking at athletic gear in January. Lol again
  19. Let us know how you like them! ????
