Holy moly, I'm ready for this liquid diet to be over and to get on with it! Two more sleeps friends and our new lives begin! ❤️❤️

I'm thankful my dr did 2 shakes and one meal for only 1 week. They told me it'd be all liquid for 2 wks in the book. But found out that it's different for everyone. Hold on! We are almost there.!

I'm in Wisconsin...surgery is 3:30 pm tomorrow, October 19. I'm on Clear Liquids right now, and my stomach is growling! Lol. The biggest fear for me is post surgery nausea and dry heaves, etc. I'm hoping that doesn't happen! Good luck everyone!!

????tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll have a tiny tummy tomorrow, it's only a day away!????

But seriously! Eeeeeek! After 13 months it's finally here.

Starting weight: 294 (September 2014)
Current weight: 250

One of the joys of teaching school is being able to watch yourself change and age ???? Below is what 40lbs less looks like....can't wait to use my tool and keep this journey going.

Tomorrow for me as well. Omg I am making list after list hoping I don't forget! I hate the clear liquids I miss my chocolate shake for Breakfast. I also forgot to measure myself so I need to do that today. They want me there at 5am and I live an hour away so I don't anticipate sleep at all. Good luck everyone, here we go....

Yes I haven't peed so much in my life either! Told my best friend today I wish I had a nickel for every time cause I'd be getting rich as much as I go on this diet. Lol. And by the time I have surgery on the 28th I will have been on it 27 days too because of the office starting a group of us at one time.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
