I LOVE coconut water and....

Recommended Posts

........ Found some with added Protein whohooooooooo. Bonus is, it tastes lovely, the downer is its a little higher in carbs than I wanted (8g for 330ml) but at least I can get some Protein in earlier on (low in calories and fat though). Protein is 20g/330ml.

One kitchen cupboard cleared and cleaned today and all my goodies are in there for the first 3 weeks (and the 2 week pre op diet). I start the liquid diet on 9th July then in on 23rd I have the op. liquid vitamins arrive tomorrow and thats me sorted apart from making some broth to freeze in preparation for the first two weeks.

I stared at my cupboard smiling- hubby thought I had gone mad lol.

Good luck to all who will be changing their lives forever in July and gentle hugs :D

Kate

@Daveo @@xxjosettexx

Its CocoPro. It does say shake the drink but I just gently turned it over a few times to keep the bubbles out and it was fine.

I ordered mine online and they come in singles and boxes of eight.

Hugs

I used to love coconut Water. Post sleeve it makes me sick. Hopefully your tastes don't change post-op on the things you are stocking up with!

Oh the drinks are for the 2 weeks before the op, the rest of the goodies are containers, recipe books, Water bottles etc etc. I will make some broth though for after :D

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
