Is there a reason why I feel more restricted the last few days? I'm almost two months out. I am sticking to my nutritional guidelines such as Protein first and Water water water, but the last two days I feel as though I am forcing myself to finish my meals. Last night, I barely ate dinner and this morning's Protein Shake has me feeling extra full. Last week I did not feel like this. I have been following my post op diet closely and have not had anything that I shouldn't. Just curious to see if anyone else's restriction seems to vary daily and if this is something that will continue. Its not really bothersome other than I know I need to eat to lose weight, but I feel so filled up and I don't want to force myself to eat when Im not hungry as that is the behavior that lead me to 200+ pounds.

I'm like that too! I'm two months post op, and one day I can eat a 4oz of grilled chicken or half of a hamburger patty with no problems. Then other days I eat the same thing and it sits like a brick in my tummy! It's so strange!

I too am having that exact problem! It's incredibly frustrating.

Take each day or meal at a time. Perfectly normal part of this journey.

I am 9 months. My restriction still varies and is so dependent on what I am eating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
