My name is Kerri Pelham.  I am a 43 year old high school teacher, and I have struggled with my weight all of my life.  I started my journey towards weight loss surgery in June 2014 after my daughter and my parents had an "intervention" with me.  They were all concerned because I was heavier than I had ever been, and they were worried about my long-term health issues.  I had my intake visit in June 2014, and I've completed all the required classes and doctor's visits.  I meet with the nutritionist and have my liver class in February, and hopefully, I'll meet with the surgeon in early March to schedule my surgery!
