  • Today is my 6th day of 14 days of clear liquids and protein shakes. I was 226 on Thursday and was 219 this am. Down 7 lbs in 5 days

  • I lost 13 lbs pre-op. I did shakes & broth only and didn't cheat once. I was too scared of my liver not shrinking enough ????

My dr is not making me do a two week diet, just a diet the day before. I've been eating really healthy smaller portions the past week (my surgery is a week from tomorrow). However I've gained 2 pounds. I am due to start my period in 9 days. This is about the time I add on those 2-4 extra pounds and they immediately drop after I start my period. I am so afraid if I don't drop them my dr won't do surgery Wednesday as planned. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I'm stressing over here. Thinking maybe I should do a one week liquid diet.

I lost 13 lbs on my 10 pre-op diet. I didn't cheat - was too afraid my liver wouldn't shrink enough! I stuck with protein shakes, cottage cheese, and broths
