1 week + 1 day post op

I cannot believe how good I feel to have had major surgery a week ago! Got my drain out yesterday (and it didn't even hurt!!!) - spent yesterday and today running errands and feel like my old self - except I don't want to eat! It's such a weird feeling - I can see and smell food and really appreciate the good aromas, but I have no desire to even take a bite! I am praying that this stays with me when I go back to eating real food.

I'm sorry for bragging bc I know a lot of you are having a harder recovery, but I feel like I have a new lease on life. This is the best decision I've ever made!!
