@ronab. I have the same issue. Ever since the surgery I have been starving. Since I started eating solid foods I now go from being full so fast to starving. The nutritionist said at the support meeting if you're hungry after two hours you're not eating enough and if you're not hungry after 4 hours you're eating too much.

I just can't get in anymore food when I do eat but I'm hungry...like really hungry... every two hours!!!

I was looking forward to that reported feeling of never being hungry

Sleeved on 12/16 .....have had absolutely no issues other than my taste and smell has been screwed up, but it coming back. Started at 259lbs and im stuck at 233.....have been there since mid January. No problems eating, but blown away with these people claiming only to be able to eat "2 baby spoonfuls" of food. Heck, i can eat an entire can of soup.....i move to stage 4 menu on the 16th, but have no desire to do so. Ive learned to like my Premier Protein chocolate shake each day and applesauce (unsweetened). I haven't experienced any pain. Im able to do what i want ( and have since the day i came home from the hospital (12/17).....this "stall" is giving me fits though....im so ready to drop some more weight.

Glad I finally found other December sleevers. It's been a crazy journey. Down 27 pounds since surgery on 12/30. Seem to be in my second stall. Eating normally, but struggling to get liquid down.

Curious if anyone else is loosing really slowly now? I was losing a pound ever other day. Now I have only lost five pounds in a month. Something doesn't seem right. Would love some advice.

@@krismess8980 I'm also on my second stall =( been at the same weight for a week and 3 days. I've been cleared to eat all foods, but still can't hold down much meat/poultry, and tend to eat mainly soft foods because I have a hard time with hard foods.

@@Big_Mama it's so frustrating. I try not to weigh myself every day but I can't help it. I want to see those numbers move. I've decided to weigh myself on the days I go to the gym. Three times a week is plenty I think.

Lol I hear you! I weigh myself constantly. Before & after. .. I use the bathroom, shower, eat, with and without clothes.. practically every time I'm in the bathroom! =/ I'm obsessed with it, it's horrible! I won't weight myself at the gym though, because that scale is off! Lol

Big mama, I'm with you! I weigh myself multiple times a day. So not dropping weight as quickly as before is killing me! Oh well, I decided that I need to get my ass up every weekday morning and work out. Need to get all I can out of this surgery. ????

I was sleeved dec 2 and am down 63 lbs.

I was given the go ahead to eat and consistently now. Fruits and veggies!

I am struggling Though. Nothing bothers my sleeve, not one dang thing! I wish something did. I eat apples with the skin. Sweet potatoes with skin. No pains or anything. It's good , but bad ya know? I ate Peanut Butter for the first time and wanted it to not agree with me, but it did :(

I am really in a not so good spot right now, it's not even 3 months :(

Depression, I'm sure of it

Depression is no joke... I'm so sorry!! Do you have someone to talk to? Maybe even a support group with other people who've been through surgery in your area? Especially since we can no longer go to the things that used to make us "happy" (i.e. eating) finding emotional support and new things to enjoy are so important!! Hang in there!!!

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
