I'm waiting on approval now but I'm hoping it will be February. I wanted it to be this month but I'm fine with early February.

I guess I'm just that typical ignorant patient, because I just can't seem to understand the process.

I will see my NUT for the last visit on 1/29, THEN everything that I've done for the last 3 months will be submitted to insurance. Once Insurance gives the go-ahead I will get my surgery date.

So who knows, it could be late Feb or even March. And then on top of that, if you work full-time like myself...you need to figure out when to request time off to do so.

I wish my insurance consultant at my bariatric office was friendlier, she's about 100 lbs. soaking wet and every time you ask her something, she looks at you like you are literally the dumbest person to ever grace her presence.

Im keeping my fingers cross for March! My last Dr visit is the 1st week of Feb. So lets see...

I have a question, whats the best Protein drink to take? Is anyone taking natural protien or making their own protein beverages with vaggies?

It's looking like early April for me

Mine was suppose to be this month, but pushed back to Feb because my protein was too low and the can't test again for 30 days after the first test. So trying to increase protein so I can get my surgery date.

I'm hoping for the end of February / the beginning of March.

It's looking like February, I'm hoping for the 13th or the 16th.

I had to see my nutritionist for a year. Next month will be my 12th visit then they summit to insurance for approval. I think the beginning of march for me.

My initial consult is next Wednesday, and if the timeline is anything like the last consult I had with this surgeon, my surgery will be March or April.

When do you think you will be having surgery?

Hopefully February...waiting on insurance preauthorization now...

I'm looking at a feb/march date.

@@mrsmith901 I am awaiting my approval as well....when did your papers get submitted to insurance? Mine were submitted 1/12/15 with a two week turn around time.

I talked to the insurance company and they have my paperwork so I hope to get a call this week. It looks like the first week of February for me...but no date yet.
