I will put this link in my signature !

Kathy812, I am not sure. My best guess is I am grieving the lifestyle I am about to give up. It sounds sick since the lifestyle I am giving up is unhealthy, painful and exhausting, but, there it is. I tend to process hard emotions before I take the plunge into anything new that is difficult. I am hoping my current sadness will make the post-op "What the heck was I thinking?" bit either non-existent or less severe.

I totally know how you feel. Like in a recent post I wrote all of my milestone I've met in my life included my stomach. We eat to celebrate life! I'm learning though I've been eating and supporting and unhealthy lifestyle. I am excited for all of us taking on a new approach to a brand new way of life!

Anyone has a YouTube channel? I have been watching tons of videos anticipating my surgery date.

@@Dana825, good luck! hope to hear from you later with good news.

@@Peekboo, go get 'em! good luck and speedy recovery to all who are getting sleeved today.

@@ToMissKA my surgery date is 10/16 too! I'll be in TJ, Where is yours?

I am thankful to have joined your discussion. I am scheduled for my surgery Oct 21st and start my post-op diet tomorrow. I'm from the far southwest burbs of Chicago. Looking for surgery buddies.

Welcome! I'm from the south suburbs of Chgo too!

Hey everyone, I'm excited it's my day!!! I'm at the hospital waiting to get prepared for surgery, wow can't believe my day has arrived. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Can't wait to update everyone. :)

Prayers just went up & may blessings pour down. Keep us posted

Hey my fellow October sleevers,

How is everyone doing? People that's been recently sleeved, how you feeling? Well the gas has subsided... I'm feeling loads better besides the pain from one of my cut. Plus I have a mild cough and it kills me to cough of sneeze. Feel like I'm gonna bust each time I do it lol. Also my stomach feels so tight. Like I've been doing mad sit-ups. I don't know how much weight I've lost since the surgery ( October 1st ) my post-op appoinment was today but I had to miss since my little bambino got sick. I'm kinda scared to get on the scale to be honest, I'm scared it won't move much. My mom had a bypass when I was 7 so she keeps telling me it'll be okay, "your gonna lose it sunshine". She's 6'0" probably 140 lbs on a bad day lol. But I'm worried about getting in all my Protein. It's hard because if i sip too fast I get terrible gas bubbles. Too slow the day will pass and I'll still be on shake #1. And I drink EAS. It tolerable but I'm not too happy with it. I feel like I'm talking yall ear off so somebody anybody HIT ME UPPPPPP:)

Prayers up for you guys:)
