  3. I brought a ton of stuff to the hospital after watching a bunch of YouTube videos but guess what! I didn't use none of it except for slippers, a robe to cover my butt and a pair of comfortable changing clothes. Congrats!!!

  5. @@Whitney1968 I went through the same feeling. Depressed and wondering what did I do to myself! What I can tell you is that this feeling will pass. It's part of the process. I couldn't figure it out before because no one around me at the time had this surgery. Everything that was of comfort to me was no longer an option and I didn't cope well with that feeling. I look back now 10 months later and say wow!!! I'm so happy for this surgery!!
  6. Hi I was also sleeved by Doctor Michael Thomas in October if last year. So far I haven't had any complications and I'm almost 100 pounds down. If you don't mind me asking what type if complications did you have that required you to be reserved?

  12. My second screening was in July and I found out in September what surgery and I had my surgery in October.
  13. Do your best if you need to bake the powder just so you can chew do that. The key is they want to know if you can tolerate a low calorie diet. I lost 14 pounds and they only wanted me to loose 8 it was hard emotionally hard but just know it's for a higher purpose.

  18. Breakfast would normally be an Atkins shake. I know I need to incorporate more water and exercise in because just walking is not getting it.
  19. Hi ladies! I have a bunch of catching up to do! Everyone is doing awesome and I'm excited for us!!! For some of us who were sleeved in October are passing our 5th month on to the 6th. Keep up the awesome work guys!! I'm down 72 pounds currently and I'm in a stall phase, hope it passes soon I can't wait to see what 80 ponds down looks like!

  21. Hey there my friends! I know it's been a while since I've been here but with work it's been difficult but you can always find me on my fitness pal. I just graduate college and I'm over joyed. I was in heels almost all day and was okay. Loving the weight loss!
  22. Nikky you look amazing! For Thanksgiving I did pretty darn good. Amanda (my stomach) didn't let me eat much but we handled it pretty well.
  23. No one needs to know but they will see how little you eat and ask questions. It's hard to hide it at the dinner table unless you hide it through conversation. Good luck!
  24. Around 2 weeks post op I experience dizziness. WhaT I noticed was I would experience it the day after I drove or when I was moving a lot. I'm not sure if tis makes sense but I did lye down a lot during recovery. It will pass in time I am going into my 6th week and only experience dizziness once I returned to work last week. It only lasted a minute or two though.
