30 pounds!!! Wowzers congrats!!!!

I feel good I'm still on clear liquids with the exception of my protein shake and the few spoons of buttermilk squash soup I had that actually gave me life. I asked to move on to the next phase but was told no and that I must stay on clear liquids until day 10???? besides that I'm doing great.

Are the shake flavored good? I don't know why it's cutting my sentences off once u mention the name of the shake

Hi everyone, My first post op appointment is today, even though I had my surgery on Tuesday my surgeon meets with patients on Mondays and preform surgeries on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (he's very busy). I weighted myself yesterday and was down 5 so far????. I needed something savory yesterday and I had a few spoons of butternut squash Soup and it tasted like fall. It was what I needed.???? Have any of you tried unjury Protein powder? If so what flavor? My incisions are itchy too. ????My surgeon use some kind of tape that will fall off on its own but the belly button incision is bothering me because my stomach folds over a tad in that area and creates moisture ????so I'll get him to take a look today. I currently have a cotton ball there hoping that helps eliminate some moisture.

Hi all, I am doing great so far today is my first day in which I feel like myself. I was able to get down 52 ounces of liquid it was like my body was craving water, lol. I also feel like I can go on to purée foods, at least my mind thinks I can. We're in this for the long haul. Congrats to everyone.

I decided to listen to my sleeve and not do the 15 minute rule. By doing that I managed to get down 52 ounces of water. Today is the first day that I actually felt like myself. I'm full of energy and I'm not dizzy or faint. I call my sleeve Amanda because she can be demanding at times! I have my first post op appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping I can advance to purée food only if Amanda can handle it. Has anyone else named their sleeve?

I know what your are feeling. It's like my body need to be readjusted and it just want to be still. Head hunger is killing me softly I really could use some oatmeal right now or at least my mind says I could. How are you liking the clear liquids? Jello has become my best friend.

I just had my surgery On Tuesday, October 14

Hey yall!!! I was sleeved today around 9:30 but I don't remember anything after I received my feel good meds. Not in any pain as of now. Got up and walked once so far but I'm about to get up again. I can't believe it's done, I'm still in shock! Will catch up a little later after I read the post above. Congrats to all current and future sleevers ????

I'm nervously excited! So much to do today with so little time. I have to be there for 8:30am (central time) let me catch up on the post. Brb

Tomorrow is our day. I feel great ready to be on the other side.

I will be sleeved on the 14th too. Everything is becoming really real. It's like it's too good to be true. Praying for a great recovery for us!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to check in. Today I had my pre-op appointment. Did labs, signed a bunch of papers and was given my pre-op diet instructions. Time is fast approaching because it seems like Tuesday, October 14th will be here before I know it! I'm sending happy calming vibes to everyone!!!

I totally know how you feel. Like in a recent post I wrote all of my milestone I've met in my life included my stomach. We eat to celebrate life! I'm learning though I've been eating and supporting and unhealthy lifestyle. I am excited for all of us taking on a new approach to a brand new way of life!

I'm going under FMLA it takes from my sick but the time I take will not be used against me. I decided to take a month off from work. I can't wait!

I am totally excited, scared and nervous just to name a few. As I read so many of the post I realized that only my pre-op diet consist of one day which is the day before surgery. I guess it just depends on your doctor. My pre-op is scheduled for this Friday, October 10th and this weekend will be my last official weekend with my whole stomach. It's crazy because now that's it real I am starting to think about the important milestones in my life in which my stomach was very much a part of because I'm an emotional eater. Every milestone that I have had consisted of food. Happy-eat, Sad-eat, excited-eat, celebrating-eat and so on. My life and every aspect of it will change on the 14th and I am anticipating good results. I'll be praying for everyone!????
