  1. Hey everyone, I'm two weeks out today and I'm so excited that I can incorporate OATMEAL!!!! I never though that I would be excited for oatmeal but I am.
  2. Hey everybody! I had a lot of catching up to do too. Right now I am trying to find my balance. Starting tomorrow I can have oatmeal, cream of wheat and baked sweet potato!! I'm super excited for the change in food because lately it's been hard. I'm trying to keep positive and know that each day will get better but it's difficult when all I knew was food. Living in The New Orleans area all I know is food, good food...it's been a struggle and the struggle is in my head because I don't be hungry. My stomach makes sounds when I drink, lol that just popped in my head so I wrote it lol but anyway tomorrow I'll be two weeks out. Did anyone else have these struggles? I need advice, I need motivation and I need to know that it will get better. I'm not on Facebook and I love it here so please don't forget about us non face bookers. Much love Tamicia
  3. RM everyday will get better, do you know when you look at the time it tends to go slow well that's the same for the scale. When you least expect it you will have a great loss. I find myself looking at cooking videos on YouTube it's so crazy! What I can't wait to try is Ricotta Bake. I seen it on the blog "the world according to egg face" for the purée stage.

  8. I have this same feeling I also had this feeling before surgery, thinking it wasn't going to happen. It's weird but our mind thoughts can sometimes sabotage our progress. In time this too shall pass. Praying for a new thought process with my new healthy changes for us.
  9. Everyday will get better. I had s day like yours on my 7th day post op. What helped me or at least I like to think was drinking my protein shakes and increasing my fluids. It's tough I know because your not hungry but we must feed our body. Hope you feel better soon.
  10. Yeah I like the strawberry so far. I actually used my blender bottle with the medal mixer in the inside. It tasted like punch more than a shake
  11. Where I got the recipe from was there YouTube channel. Mix your Water with the crystal light lemonade mix that up then add the Protein powder and mix that up. I had it twice and I guess because it's a different taste from what I've been drinking I enjoy it. How do you drink yours?
  12. I am doing well. Yesterday wasn't a good day because I was dizzy most of the day so today I started my day out with a protein shake and I'm taking it easy. So far so good. Thanks for asking. How are you?

I took my pressure earlier and it was in normal range it's located in an earlier post. Congrats to everyone who has had their surgeries for everyone whose to come I want to motivate and encourage you. As you read our post you'll see that everyday is not great but everyday is a new day at a new way of living. It takes getting use to but I can assure you it is all worth it.
