7 Months & 116.4 Pounds

Recommended Posts

I am 7.5 months post op and down 116.4 pounds! I started to get discouraged today because as the numbers get smaller, you don't see those huge changes in your body from month to month. So I thought maybe I should remind myself of where I've started & where I am. I shot this pic after my work out :-)

You look fabulous! How are you feeling?

Thank you!!! Good question!!! I feel amazing!! That is the best part. I am doing things I never thought I could do (like running 3 miles nonstop!!), have so much more energy, and am so much more confident :-) Plus I'm healthy :-)

How many cal do you take in on most days?

Can you give an example in what you eat in most days?

I am 11 days post op and still have trouble swallowing cottage cheese at times. Does this heartburn feeling eventually go away?

I'm usually between 600-700 calories. I try really hard to stick to no more than 40g carbs, at least 65-70g Protein, and at least 10 8-oz waters. I track everything on MFP. My name is livvsmum if you want to add me. All my logs are viewable :-)

YES! I promise it gets better. The first 2 weeks were TOUGH. Just get through it & every day gets better. I actually don't take any hb meds at all now. :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
