I lost 140 pounds with my surgery and then became severely anemic needing hospitalization. During this time I was not able to exercise and was too lethargic to really care about much, so I regained about 20 pounds. I went to see my weight management clinic physician and she prescribed me phentermine to "kick start" my weight loss. I've only been on it a month and I started with the very lowest dosage (15mg). I haven't had any negative side effects at all and have lost 7 pounds. I actually have my monthly check in with her and will likely increase dosage to 30mg since I've tolerated the lower dosage well.

Here are a couple of mine as I'm coming up on my 2 year surgiversary this week. My highest weight in these pictures was 278.4 and my "after picture" weight here is 128. It's been an amazing 2 years and I'm happy to say that I have reached maintenance now. :-) I have lots more pictures and info on my journey in my blog (linked in my signature) if you are interested.

And the other is from yesterday when I went out in the FRONT yard with my kiddos to soak up some vitimin D in my bikini top and my running skirt. I wasn't brave enough to go full bikini, but hey! It's still progress!!

I didn't want to scare the neighborhood with the full bikini (lol) so I wore my running skirt with a bikini top, but it was so awesome to feel like I could go layout in my front yard without being mortified. :-)
