  6. Sounds like we are the same : April 22 2014 was surgery and I'm down 115 pounds (before and after)
  7. Wow, only two months out and you are at 900 to 1000 calories????!!!!???? Are you sure???? I'm nine months out an have 1000 calories at the most. Usually between 600-800. I think at two months out I was maybe pushing 500 calories... Maybe.
  8. I am 8 months out, down 115 pounds. I have between 800-1,000 calories a day, roughly 40 carbs, 60 protein and keep track on my fitness pal. I hit a stall in month 7 and lost and gained and lost the same 5 pounds for about 5 weeks. I've been eating fruits and veggies (after my protein) for about 4 months now ( not potatoes tho) and most consists of two bites (2 small strawberries, small slice of pineapple, 1/4 of a cutie).
  9. I had one third of a glass 7 months out (prior to surgery I'd have a glass a night)... Tasted so good. Began to feel it immediately. Then I had a gout flare up.... So, no more wine for me, isn't worth it.
  10. Popcorn, I'd wait till 4 months postoperative. Due to the stable line etc. try a few kernels at 4 months and see how you react. I tried that popcorn stuff from a tin last week... Yuck, can't believe I loved it at one time. PS: avoid the Carmel corn tho, too much sugar. Someone mentioned eggs: 7 months out, I still can't do eggs, only can do hard boiled.
  11. They usually have a heathy option with no sugar, no msg, etc. I LOVE Chinese food. I don't eat anything breaded or fried. Love crab rangoons, but that is what got me to a size 24. Now, I only do shrimp with snowpeas and skip the rice. 7months out for me,,,, I can usually eat about 5 shrimp.

  13. Watch the sugar content. I am 7 months out on Tuesday and on Thanksgiving I had my first sips on white wine... It equaled about 1/4cup. It hit me quick, but was so yummy. Again watch the sugar content. I ONLY eat sugar free from now on.... Down 109 pounds. A few sips on a special occasion is ok, in my opinion.

  15. Hope this attaches: 6 months out (actually tomorrow 10/21/14) and down 97 pounds.
  16. I've had a few Carb-Nada noodles, a few ritz crackers (from the small Lunchables) and a slice of rye bread in the past 6 months,,, I avoid it as much as I can.
  17. I went from a 8W ( wide) to a 6.5 ???? I am 6 months out. I just donated TONS of shoes
  18. I've lost a lot of weight and it shows I my face, my once double/triple chin is now just loose skin. Any facial exercises I can do to rid my chin skin?
  19. I order salads, minus the lettuce. I love salads ( before surgery) but now I would rather "fill up" on the proteins and goodies in a salad not from the lettuce itself. You may get some strange looks but actually I think they add more of the goodies in it than it would normally contain if it had the lettuce included. I am 4 months out and down 75 pounds.

  21. At what point did you get your wedding rings re-sized? I'm at 3 months out (down 64 pounds) and even tho I put on plastic sizers, my rings still fall off. Wondering when might be a good time to re-size so I don't have to keep doing it.
