I lost about 10 lbs. But everyone is different. You might even gain weight after surgery because of all the IV fluids you go through while there.

I think I lost 8lbs the 1st week. But I was wondering how much of that 8lbs was the part of my stomach they removed? B)

22lbs

I lost about 5 lbs the first week.....but honestly, for the first week I was only concerning myself with staying hydrated. And doing my walking. And sleeping ;) The body can react strangely to surgery, and I was only concerning myself with recovering from that!

My big loss was week 2 -- that week I lost 9 lbs :)

8 pounds :D

Everyone is different. Every diet is different.

I gained 5 pounds the first week :)

By the end of week one I had gone from 311 (surgery) to 319 (day 3) to 306 (day 7). I guess technically I could claim a 13 lb loss but who am I kidding....I lost 5 lbs. just finished week 2 with only a 1 lb loss. Seems really low for my starting weight and what I'm consuming but at least it's in the right direction I guess.

The heavier you are to start with the more you lose. I lost 11 pounds, went in at 299 and was 288 one week out.

I hope this is true! I'm going in April 7th at around 320 lbs.
