Anyone from Ga? Would like to make some local Ga friends.

My family is making me nervous. .they keep telling me I'm not big enough for WLS.that I will get to skinny. .they are concern why my doc world allow me to have wls..I currently weight 235lb, 5'4..we have a family friend that had VSG 2012.. she's realllly starting to look scary unhealthy, and my mom & sis..keeps telling me. They hope I take her example seriously. .getting nervous :-(

I read on a few Google search, that most pregnancy end up with baby girls. I have 2 boys would love to have a baby girl in the future. I think about it every day..let's chat..lol

Read that due to low calorie intake, chances of baby girl are higher. Curious. .have 2 boys praying and hoping for a little girl.

Why did I bothered having surgery, When I'm not losing weight. Going on 5months post op on Monday. Down only 30 lbs. This is freaking ridiculous! !..have been stuck at 208-209 lbs now for over 2wks..I'm so pissed. .I knew this surgery was to good to be true. Sorry everyone I'm just soooo upset.

Thanks everyone for the tips and replies. I recently started working out again. Focusing really hard daily with my fluid intake. As for proteins, I get most of it from meat,cheese, veggies.

Congrats :-)...crossing fingers for a baby girl in the near future. Been praying about it.

Wish I had bypass instead sometime, cause this weight refuse to come off. .day of surgery 242lbs. .11 wks post op down 19 lbs only. Feeling so depressed.i have hypothyroidism and I know it's harder to lose weight. But this is ridiculous! don't know if I'm eating to much or not enough.

I know that feeling of failing all to well. Going on 11 wks post op next week Tuesday. Down only 29 lbs. Weight day of surgery 242lbs. I'm losing extremely slow. Really didn't expect to lose this slow. I have hypothyroidism. But eating soooooo little anyone should of been losing more. But my body is holding onto every single fat..I feel soooo down at times. Especially when family is asking why I'm losing so slow. Where as a family friend had same surgery 2 yrs ago and she lost her weight fast . I hate being around my family. Cause they were against surgery and I took such a big risk and it's not going so well. I'm thankful that surgery went extremely well absolutely no complications. Thank God! .just little down with such little lost.

Thanks everyone for the positive encouragement. ..I feel a little better. .ate well today veggies and plenty of protein. Got a good workout playing kick ball with my little ones..got in a good sweat. Then went for a power walk. Really cleared my mind.

You guys are doing way better than I am.was sleeved 4/15..starting weight day of surgery 242lbs. .As of today. .down only 17 lbs. .so I'm losing extremely slow. Have hypothyroidism. .tired of stressing about the slow weight lost. I guess it will come off when it's ready. Body is holding on to every fat..especially since eating low calories. .keeping fingers crossed. That the surgery will work.

Please share some good one liners with us. I need some good ones. .lol
