  1. Thanks. I'm still doing the 80gms of protein per day. I need water constantly. I think some days I don't eat enough. It seems when I do the scale goes down. I'm eating one to two meals per day and shakes. I've always eaten like that.
  2. My high weight was 274. Surgery weight, 4/15/14, 254. Today, 12/4/14, 203 (-71 lbs). I'm glad about this but how are you all losing so quickly? I'm so close I can taste ONEDERLAND, and I'm oh so desperate to see it. It's been 8 months on 12/15. Any pointers?
  3. How fantastic for you! That gives me hope.
  4. My highest weight was 274. I still want to eat. Surgery didn't help that, but I watch what I eat. I also still drink shakes and try to force as much Water during the day as possible. It's difficult getting the 80 grams of Protein in with only food, but the Premier Protein Shakes with 30g each helps tremendously. I seem to be losing slowly now. I want to change that and boost the weight loss. I realize it's only been six months, but so many people are farther along than I am. I'm just so ready for ONEderland!
  5. I've finally reached 6 months today (10/15/14) and am down 61 pounds! I thought I'd be farther along, but I'm happy and it's only been 6 months. Hw: 274 Today: 213 Onederland, I'm coming for you!
  6. I went to Ochsner, Dr. James B. Wooldridge. I've had not one problem. Not one.
  7. Thank you so much for sharing that info. I increased my shakes by one more daily since reading your post and thank God and you, the numbers are falling! Good luck to you!
  8. Just do the best you can. I'm on synthroid also.
  9. I know there's a button to report. Select the person's quote and touch report. Hope that helps.
  10. I cannot believe I received a bill from the hospital for over $1000 in the mail today. I gave them $3400 cash. Wha.. ?
  11. How much Protein do you consume daily? What is a typical day of eating for you, please?
  12. Which Dr. gives these shots. This sounds like a plan. Do you do them yourself? How often are the injections?
  13. When does the real weight begin to come off? I know It's still early, but being that very little is going in it seems the weight should be coming off quicker. HW 274, DOS 254, 5/4/14, 251. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I'm following everything they told me, but that's only 3lbs since DOS.
  14. I placed a pillow underneath the side with the largest cut for support, and used an ice pack. That made nights a tad more comfortable.
  15. I cannot tolerate the taste of crushed meds, so I split pills into several small pieces and swallow with water or crystal lite. No problems so far.
  16. Why would he do that? He could have offered to go someplace where you both could enjoy a meal. I commend you. I would have taken the car and gone someplace else. The cinnabons may have been left in the parking space. But I digress. You evidently are stronger than you know! Kuddos to you and your strength for purpose. You have already succeeded!
  17. I have Rx solu prevacid. It just dissolves on the tongue.
