Good luck to all of today's surgeries!

As for me, no more morephin, horrible chest pain and getting ready for UGI. Catheter is out(thank god).

Feeling a little tummy discomfort(5incisions) but its the chest pain that is bothering.

Slept like a baby last night but that was due to the pain meds, unfortunately no more today :(

I'm happy you are doing so great. My guess is the chest pain is from the anesthesia working out of your system. I've had many surgeries and sometimes the pain in my chest/shoulder area was worse than the surgical pain. Thankfully, it goes away within a day or so. Are they going to be giving you anything for pain?

You did great, now if only I do as great. I am afraid I won't have my surgery. I have cheated on my opifast diet of shakes only every day so far.

Sorry to hear about your chest pain. Judging from the other post op threads it's probably the gas right? I know mine was a real b!+*# after my lap band surgery. Good to know you are doing well otherwise. Good luck and prayers out to everyone today.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
