I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

Can any one give me any other ideas beside the above.

Chicken Asian Salad for me and Lasagna for the rest of the FAM (whole wheat pasta, Ground Chicken, low fat Cheese and Pasta Sauce)

Date of Surgery 12/18/12

Made Bacon Cheeseburger Lettuce Wraps

1lb ground turkey

5 pieces of bacon; chopped to bite size pieces

1/2 medium onion (or 1 small)

5 wedges Laughing Cow Queso Chipotle Cheese Spread

1/2 Cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 Tbsp Ketchup

1 Tbsp Mustard

1 Tbsp Dill Relish

1 Head of Lettuce ( I used iceberg but most any kind would do)

Saute onions and bacon together until bacon is almost crisp and onions are soft. Add ground turkey until brown. Mix in cheese wedges until melted. Add in ketchup' date=' mustard and relish. Scoop onto a lettuce leaf. Top with shredded cheddar.

Simple 1-dish meal :) You can also mix it up to make it how you like.

Oh and depending on the size of your lettuce wrap, this makes enough for the family. I ate one, my husband had 2 and there are leftovers[/quote']

Love me some lettuce wraps from P F Changs.....

My meal plan says I can have turkey sandwich meat and low fat cream cheese. I plan on rolling cream cheese in the turkey for roll ups. Also, says I can have meatloaf. Yum.

Foranewme: what about blending up some cooked shrimp, fat free mayo, lemon juice, sea food seasoning? Progresso onion soup heated with 1/4 cup ricotta melted in it?

U are honest lol

Yes i know, just wished i wasnt so much because i get hammered on by people who dont post what they eat but its all good. I am bot going to fool myself to thinking i am doing good on my choices. I have to make myself accountable that is why i am truthful to all of you. Lol oh well

Ya know, I was thinking about this the other day. Many of us (including myself) have been torn down most of our lives for what we do and don't eat. Wrong choices, right choices, each one of us has so many different things that our doctors tell us we can or cannot eat that to see us criticizing each other just makes me sad.

The world wants us to fail because we have over and over again. If someone posts that they need help staying on track that is a different situation, but we just shouldn't be mean to one another, no matter what. There are plenty of people in the real world to do that for us. If this process was easy everyone would do it and we should try to remain as judgement free as possible. We are all human so we will make mistakes and that is ok, but we should try and practice kindness as best we can.

Sorry, just my two cents. This board has been great for me because I don't have a husband, boyfriend, significant other doing this with me. I have my Mom who tries, but just how she had a problem with my food choices before, she still does now, so to have a group of people who even as different as our journeys are can at least share them? Priceless.
