Surgery Dec 17 still in the hospital nightmare!

Dec 17 surgery date, come out all is foggy immense pain, day two , bp low , racing heart, immense pain high temp, transferred to icu, bp, heart rate under control, now infection at jp drain site , picc line inserted for tpn nutrition, waiting on cultures results......wondering if this was all worth it, everyone says focus on the big picture, well when you have an infection thats not healing, been in the hospital 7 days, with nothing to eat or drink and getting fed through a tube starting tomorrow, oh and missing the holidays, and everyone else who had the surgery the day of or after are homer ? well you see the bigger picture!

Still praying and hoping so much that you get better. This has been a tough tough road for you so far. I hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Please keep us updated. And If I lived close to you I would be there to help you. I know your Mom and partner are glad to help. Let them help you, they love you and want you to get better.

Dear God please touch our dear friend and bring her healing of these infections and give her body strength and her mind peace. We thank you Lord for your healing and grace, In Jesus Name, Amen

Thinking about you, and hoping recovery is coming along. Take those small baby steps, and revel in each thing that becomes a little better or easier. The big picture can be overwhelming! Take care and keep us updated!

Hope your feeling better....

Hi, I to have had problems and you just feel so negative, it's hard to be positive when you feel so ill... All I can say for sure is...for now, let family and friends be positive for you and just concentrate on getting through it don't feel like a burden as you would do exactly the same for them if they were in your situation take each day as it comes otherwise you will feel overcome with it as that's why most of us choose the path of WLS. So you will get through this it's pretty crappy at the moment but your time to shine WILL come I promise just get through is as best you can, lots of love and we will be positive for you x
