Surgery Dec 17 still in the hospital nightmare!

Dec 17 surgery date, come out all is foggy immense pain, day two , bp low , racing heart, immense pain high temp, transferred to icu, bp, heart rate under control, now infection at jp drain site , picc line inserted for tpn nutrition, waiting on cultures results......wondering if this was all worth it, everyone says focus on the big picture, well when you have an infection thats not healing, been in the hospital 7 days, with nothing to eat or drink and getting fed through a tube starting tomorrow, oh and missing the holidays, and everyone else who had the surgery the day of or after are homer ? well you see the bigger picture!
