I'm not proud of this....but....

On Sunday morning, I made pancakes for the kids. I ate a pancake with them. It was delicious. Warm....with yummy syrup. Most carbs I have eaten in months.

Made me so damn sick. I know better than that! Why did I have to "see what would happen"?

Anyway, I think I am cured from pancakes! UGH!

Care to share your "see what would happen" food?

i LOVE THIS THREAD! I am almost 4 weeks out and I keep trying to eat "no sugar added" frozen yogurt. EVERY time I eat it, I get horrible, painful, gas. And then I try it again. I'm a SLOOOWWW learner.

NOTHING bothers my sleeve!!! And that is starting to freak me out!!! I want sugary things to make me sick!!!!

Me too so far!

i pray and hope that I will have a horrible reaction to cake which I LOVE (If I'm ever dying in front of your eyes' date=' please offer me some and watch me come back to life) but my sleeve appears to be super-accommodating and doesn't seem to mind anything! dang it.

Except maybe cake if I'm lucky and ever desperate enough to try it?[/quote']

Nope I love cake no bad reaction to it.. but Tai Tea Boba omg I was so sick out both ends

About a week into soft foods, I had a craving for Italian. So I thought meatballs at my favorite Italian place would be good. Of course they came on top of spaghetti, and I ate a few bites of that as well. The meatballs were full of bread fillers (why didn't I ever notice that before) so not good quality Protein. But the spaghetti just got stuck. I have never vomited since my sleeve surgery, but that night I wished I could. Had to sit in the restaurant for about 30 minutes to keep the food from coming back up.

Turned me off any kind of Pasta. The thought of it just turns my stomach. Hooray!

Tried movie popcorn, on the other hand, hoping it would do the same thing -- but no luck. Just slides right through!

Beef broth and Shepard's pie!! I ate this the night before my sleeve, no pre-op diet, but that morning after my antibiotics I vomited beef broth for what felt like days! Now I can't stand ANY ground beef!

Chocolate fudge. Oooh so much sugar, tummyache!

Burger King chocolate shake - stomach ache, the big "D" and full blown hives - will never do that again - GROSS!

Little Debbie Cloud Cake..I wanted to die after I ate one tonight, I got nauseous and sweaty. Never again!

Dang!!! i have a sleeve of steel :/

Sent from my GT-I9100 using VST

I so wish I had negative reactions to eating things we shouldn't eat. I totally have a sleeve of steel too. Have not gotten sick once since surgery.

I ate 1/2 of a small shake from sonic last night. Wish I hadnt done that.

I had a small chocolate shake last night too and felt soooo awful after. Won't be doing that again. I've had sugar here and there but obviously pushed it too much with the shake. So grateful for my sleeve and how it reminds me to be a good girl when I make bad food choices. :-)
Has anyone tried sushi? I miss sushi so much. Lol blahhhh

10 months out and can eat 3 pieces :) Tried it round month 8 and could only eat the insides.
