I'm not proud of this....but....

On Sunday morning, I made pancakes for the kids. I ate a pancake with them. It was delicious. Warm....with yummy syrup. Most carbs I have eaten in months.

Made me so damn sick. I know better than that! Why did I have to "see what would happen"?

Anyway, I think I am cured from pancakes! UGH!

Care to share your "see what would happen" food?

I was sleeved in June and promised myself popcorn during first Nfl game. So yummy and didn't bother me or slowdown weight loss. So, I had it again during Monday Night Football with some Indian corn and pumpkins in it...cramps and the trots ALL night. Never again!

Sleeve of steel here too! I do my best to behave, but occasionally I will "give it a try and see what happens"!! I've only thrown up once, but I think it was do to excessive grease and only a couple of times have I had the overfull filling, which generally subsides after a couple of burps. I was bad today... I had to try some banana pudding, I definitely ate more than I should have, but no issues.

I'm four weeks out. I can't eat deli ham! Chicken is my salvation. I'm craving a mini cinnamon roll from my local donut shop. I just want one bite! I'm looking forward to real food. I want to see if I can tolerate one or two bites of a volcano sushi roll. I'll probably peel off some of the rice.

My hubby had sushi at 3 1/2-4 months with no issues. I had a bite of rice yesterday 6 weeks out' date=' no issue. You just have to chew chew chew![/quote']

Thank you for giving me hope lol

Sleeve of steel also... unfortunately. .. well with the exception of any kind of chicken reheated makes me sooooooo sick!

Sugar doesn't affect me at all... sigh...

chocolate doesn't affect me either....

Ugh.... I wish I couldn't eat them...

I just had sushi Sunday. It was great the two pieces I was able to eat. The rice made me feel full really fast. After a little while tried a third piece it was a no go. On the upside ANY pastas make me ill and I vomit.

How far post op are you?

I have Sushi maybe once every two months or so. I have no problem eating it and can manage 2-3 rolls depending on their size. My favourite has crab and avocado in the middle. I just take a bite which is like half the roll and chew it properly.

NOTHING bothers my sleeve!!! And that is starting to freak me out!!! I want sugary things to make me sick!!!!

If only I can barely tolerate Water. I'm 9 days post op was remitted for dehydration and I am struggling. It's Nausea for me and insomnia .im getting little Protein not enough water but lots of vomiting and heaving. Yikes any advise.

Oh man! I had zofran to take home (sublingual), have they given you anything? Have you tried any add-ins to your water (like crystal lite liquid or mio)? They helped me for a couple of weeks, plain water made me nauseas. At 9 days I was on full liquid and used a chocolate Protein shake from SAMs club.
