I got my date (October 15th) and my insurance approval. I'm excited and nervous. Who else is being sleeved in October?

Sleeved on Wednesday as well. Doing ok. Not enough fluids maybe about 50oz. I had a protein shake though. 30gm of protein. About half of what supposed to have per day' date=' but ill take it. Keep having stomach spasms like 1-3 per hour. Sooo painful.[/quote']you are a star! Sleeved on Monday and I am not even close to hitting that 50oz mark!! Way to go! Today is the first day I feel like I wil hit 36oz of fluids.. Maybe protein shakes and soups about 9oz... Working on it..it's a daily effort and adventure!!

My husband and I were sleeved on Tues and out of hospital yesterday. We are staying in a self contained apartment in Brisbane for 2 weeks for after care with the surgeon and his team and then fly back to Singapore. Feeling tired but know that this is probable one of the best things to ever happen to us.

Hey, caribe, I'm just catching up on posts. I sleeved on tues, too. Hope yours went well. I'm doing great. praise the LORD.

So, I actually got called in to have my surgery early on Thursday, and I was given my final weight loss before surgery- 20.6 lbs down since start of diet, 29.6 lbs down from highest weight. Wow.

I'm on day three and waiting to be discharged. Amazing what some rest, pain killers, and hot shower can do to the spirits.

Day 3 post op and feeling great! Even walked fot 20mins. Will try to walk again later.

12 hours from now I'll be on my way.

Getting super excited. My surgery is Monday. Didn't have to do the liquid diet. Just 1200 calorie diet. And can even have a light breakfast on Sunday. Can't wait. Keep me motivated sleevers!!!!

ice chips are worth the trick!!! Best thing going!

I have a question - I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday - I thought we had to begin washing our bellies with a special soap or something a couple nights before. Is this true? Just wondering as my doc didnt provide me anything and wondered if I should head to the store. Any insight is helpful :)
