Sleeved March 6th, and i just stepped on the scale!!!!!!!!! 50lbs God willing GONE FOREVER!!!!!!! it's been a very rough 2 months for me and its still very tough with having no energy and trying to keep up with my 20 month old but the weight is falling off and I'm elated! Although I feel like my body isn't really showing it since I'm a very thick curvy woman but hey nonetheless I'm losing it.

sleeved 3/13. down 33 in two months, 53 overall.

Sleeved 3/25 down 30 lbs. still struggling with food feeling "stuck" and hurting when I eat. Still feeling tired often. Hoping that things will be better as time goes on.

I was sleeved March 6th and am down almost 44 lbs. in this 9 weeks and into Onederland!

I am currently in a little stall and just feeling so tired the past couple if weeks. I don't even want to exercise. I started taking Iron, too but apparently that's not helping with energy.

I hate Scales!!!, because I can go to 3 different doctors within 3 hours and have a 10# variance I was sleeved at 333 on my scale today 301 so 32#'s in 2 months and 4 days I dont know if is good bad or average, still very frustrated with myself for getting so obese in the first place. After I was sleeved I really started noticing what a blob I had become, before surgery I feel there was a reality distortion field around all my mirrors and now they are gone. Doc put me on welbutrin 8 days ago still feel depressed though.

Well let's see here.. I was sleeved on 3/20, my surgery weight was 264, and my current is at 244. I stalled at 3 weeks post op for about 2.5 weeks. So I've only lost about 20 pounds since the actual surgery date. I was never given a guide on how many calories to consume. I was given the freedom to eat pretty much whatever I wanted to at 2 weeks post op. I learned that if I eat too much and/or too quickly, I feel VERY uncomfortable. I know to eat slow, and stop before I feel too full. I get hungry and still crave the naughty foods even though I was told that I wouldn't ever be hungry or even crave the junk food anymore.

Am I glad that I lost 20 pounds? Sure. However, when you do the actual math, it's only about 3lbs. per week not including my 2+ week stall, which is what I could have lost on my own (though trying very hard to do so) without surgery. Overall, I'm disappointed. Other folks have lost way more than me, or at least have lost more inches. I feel like I'm going to be that small % where this surgery just doesn't help me.

I was sleeved 3/19. I am so happy with my sleeve! I am having a bit if trouble with water and vitamins, it sounds as though I am not the only one. Before surgery I was able to drink 3 liters of water a day with no problem, but now I am good if I get in 48-50. Of course I would like to have lost more by now, but it is coming off. 20+ inches overall.

It is a wonderful feeling to be satisified with such a small amount of food. We have taken 5 small trips in the past 2 months and eating out is so easy! Just ask the waiter for exactly what you want even off menu and there are no questions! Went to a BBQ joint with a group of people and I ordered 4 ounces of BBQ chicken and cucumbers, the waitress just said OK!

I'm right there with you . I have been instructed how many cals, Protein, and such to get in. I am. Water and exercise and all! Still only down about 23 pounds. I'm disappointed in myself and feel like I'm not going to loose any more. I was sleeved march 26th. Good luck to you. I hope things get better.

Sleeved on 3/26 and down 42 lbs. I have gone from a tight 18W to 16 regular size. How exciting to be able to shop in the main women's dept. I too had a very rough start with this surgery and had so much regret. Well there is no going back so we must embrace and make the best of a great "tool". While recovering in bed, I tore the cartledge in my knee, go figure. Surgery is set for next month so I haven't been able to exercise. Water and protein are a huge struggle and I never get enough of each.

I agree, definitely a struggle...I feel tired sometimes but then I talk to myself & say, "Come on girl. You got this. Do it. Push it. You won't give up. Make it happen". Then I pray & say, "God, I need you to guide me & show me just what to do to make this happen....to get to my goal. God, please don't leave me. I can't do this without you. Thank you". So, my surg was March, 6, 2013 & I started at 303. My ticker says 257, but I did what I said I wouldn't & pulled out my scale this morn & 260! Well, I can only assume fluid retention or muscle gain cause I lift faithfully every week. I'm encouraged, because I believe that the big "Whoosh" will come one day soon. Waiting....

I have total belief in you. You definately can do it..Just keep telling yourself that you did not go thru all of this for nothing. It is hard I know but you got to push yourself so hard. I am here if you need that motivation. I have to keep reminding myself that it will be hard the first time I do something but it will get better later. I was just diagnose with fibroid tumors this morning, so now this is another set back that I will have to deal with but nothing is going to stop me. I've come to far. On a lighter side, now I see why can't lose my stomach as fast as I am losing everything else, but it is all good. This to will pass..thats a promise..

I was sleeved on March 11 & reached my first big goal - 50 pounds down!! It's hard to see results when looking in the mirror every day, but when I compared my "before surgery picture" to this one I took this past weekend, I could really see myself shrinking! I don't know about you guys, but I'm sooooo glad I made the decision to have surgery!

I'm down 71lbs overall. I was sleeved on 3/4.

I have total belief in you. You definately can do it..Just keep telling yourself that you did not go thru all of this for nothing. It is hard I know but you got to push yourself so hard. My sleeve was 3/18, I have lost 51 lbs and a total of 25.5 inches. I am having a little trouble getting in water and protein, but most days I do okay. I am afraid of loosing my hair, (even though that would not be the worst thing that could happen) I try to be aware of my protein grams. Water I get about 32 ounces a day, trying to intake more everyday. Some days I miss eating like I use to, but then I remember why I did this to begin with. I have not had to take an insulin shot since about 5 days after surgery and my sugar numbers continue to stay in normal range. I have more energy and go to the gym 3 to 4 days a week. All in all I would do the surgery again! Glad to see most are doing good.
