  1. You are not alone!!! I finally went to see my surgeon this week. I've been too embarrassed to go back because I only lost 52 pounds and I'm 11 months post op. I was shocked at his reaction. He was very pleased with my weight loss. I have 25 more pounds to go to reach my personal goal. I know I can do it. We all can. it made me feel better to hear words of encouragement. My start weight was 227 also. Please don't beat yourself up. You are doing great
  2. Me 4! Let's support each other!
  3. I have you beat. I'm only 50 pounds down with surgery 3/27/12 I exercise 4-5 times a week. I think I lack enough protein and water. Working to improve. I feel your pain though
  4. I feel your pain. I was sleeved march 27 2013 and I'm down 50. Very frustrating. I work hard at the gym. Much much more then I ever have. I eat super clean. I don't get enough water in but I do get a decent amount. I'm so embarrassed I haven't even seen my surgeon since 2 months out. I'm going on Monday because I know I have to. Ugh! I'm very happy with the 50 lost. I never been able to get any weight off it's just confusing why it takes longer then anyone else.
  5. I'm so sorry to hear that. I haven't lost more than 13 in 3 months but I haven't had any other issues. Are you in touch with your surgeon? When do they expect you to be better?
  6. Omg that's crazy is it related to your sleeve? Are you out of the hospital yet?? I'm doing well just super slow losing. I'm at 175 and around 10 months out so I'm down about 50 pounds. Discouraged but not giving up and happy about the what I've lost
  7. How are you feeling? I hope things are better for you.
  8. I can totally relate to you. How are you doing now?
  9. Thank you. Started at 226, now I bounce between 139-142. I'm 5’2. hi we are at the exact height and start weight. I'm a super slow loser. How long did it take you to be at goal? You look fab btw!
  10. I feel like such a failure. I'm so embarrassed I don't even want to go back for a check up with my doctor. I haven't even been on here . Sleeved the end of March this year and only down 46 pounds.
  11. I'm in south jersey. I'm a super slow looser. Just reading about the 5 day pouch test now.
  12. You look wonderful! I'm very discouraged. I'm 9 months out and only long 46 pounds. I'm in the best shape over ever been and eating better then ever but I'd be lying if I would say that I'm not upset.
  13. Wow good for you! You look fab and hopefully feel wonderful!
  14. Almost 2 months post op and I haven't experienced either.
  15. That stinks . I'm on another stall. I've just stopped loosing. So frustrating. I'm everything you are going through will turn out for the positive one day soon!! Take care
  16. Yes thanks everyone for your input. Geez can it be soooo frustrating!
  17. Surgery 3/26/13 226 Cw 204 22 pounds lost. I feel like a very slow loser. Gym 3-4 days a week. I'm getting in all Protein and staying low in carbs as per Nut. The scale moved once in about 3 weeks. I'm grateful but disappointed in the same
  18. Well I just stuck to what I was doing, counting cals, carbs, Protein. I uped the gym time and I had a day where I didn't count cals! The next day, I was down 3lbs! I'm now back to counting and tracking but I have hope again! Oh getting in a lot of water!
  19. I was in a stall from week 3-5. Ugh it was so depressing! Kinda still is but in the past 2 days the scale has moved!! Yeah! I'm kinda new so I can give too much advice but I have been sticking to the nutritionist recommendations and have been moving more. Good luck!
