Pigging out before LIQUID DIET?

Recommended Posts

Omg yes! For 2 weeks I ate whatever I wanted. By the time my 2 week pre-op started, I was SICK of eating.... Sick of food. So far the pre-op has been pretty good so maybe I psyched myself out lol!! Enjoy your time.

I'm still doing okay' date=' liquid diet starts in 5 days, as of now I'm having 3 Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch, then having my favorite meals for dinner funeral!

I just had a large slices beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, fried okra and green beans!

Ohhhh and topped off with a bananna pecan piece of cake![/quote']

Sounds like you are hanging in there.!

I must admit you got me jealous with the banana pecan cake! :P

They are not taking that part away....

No no they're not taking it away but I can't have my normal sex .. Like rough sex I guess that comes with the territory like I have so many questions on what positions are better and stuff like that

Skipping sex for a couple of weeks barely appears on my radar. This is a life changing major surgery. I think I can hold out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
