I went to the gym!!! I did it!!! I went on the treadmill for 40 minutes and 20 minutes on the bicycle. I did a good pace, but not too fast.

This is what I ate today:

Breakfast: 1 egg and cheddar cheese

Lunch: 1 South Beach chicken and green Beans

Snack: 2 string cheese

Snack: 1 Activia yogurt

Dinner: smoked oysters

I have gotten about 44 ounces of crystal light so far. I forgot to take my Vitamins. I have only gotten about 900 calories so far. My goal is 1200.

I have had no problems eating, but I have to stop when I get to about 1 cup.

How are you all doing????

Oh yeah, congrats to all of you who are getting banded tomorrow!!!!

I will keep you in my prayers!!!:clap2:

GOOD for you getting back to the gym..my big plan is to start walking wednesday evening, after resting a bit...there is a dirt 1/4 mile track at the barn, it is a beautiful walk with lots of bunnies, birds, sometimes a coyote or two...I am going to ask the dr. to get the extra gas out before closing up, like someone had mentioned...I had my last big dinner tonight, tomorrow I will watch the food intake, although my doctor said I didnt have to do anything special..I just dont want any big surprises saved up, if ya know what I mean..eeeek...:D

That sounds beautiful!!! Walking as soon as possible is what I wish I would have done. I got so lazy. It was hard to get up and go today. But, once there I was fine.

ps I am really nervous about the general anesthesia...I am afraid I will go to sleep and not wake up..I know it is silly...

You will be okay. I have been under so many times! I had a Tummy Tuck, 2 c-sections, the lapband...

They also gave me pain meds in my IV before surgury so when I woke up I was not in pain!

Doing really good except I'm tired a lot. Can't seem to get the calories in that I need or something. I tried eating a bit more for lunch today and my ribs hurt for about 30 minutes afterwards. Doctor said not to worry right now about counting calories but to work on learning to eat properly with the band (chewing well and eating slowly with no liquids). Who would've thought I would ever have a problem with too few calories!!!!

Audree, have you tried a tortilla wrap yet? I love Subway and am afraid that is always going to be a no-no, they also have the wraps. Just wondering if since surgery has anyone tried the wraps that fast-food places have?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
