Hi, not eating anything, I am having Protein shakes had 1 x 200 mls today and about a glass of Water so far. The doctors told me to hand in a poo sample and they would check it but this was on Sat and still they have no results.

Hi all, I am sleeved on 05 Nov 2012

8 days since op

Drop 15 lb

I am from a Singapore , where sleeve are rarely done here, less than 40 of them a year.

my doctor only did 20+ patient for sleeve. Sounds scary isn't it.

I am grad that I survive. :)

On the 4th day while in hospital, doctor already ask me to take full liquid (protein drink)

So far so good. But I worried if i have enough input of "food"

I only took 2 x 160 cal Protein drink and Water a day.

I wanted to lose weight slowly and healthy.

I still got cravings to eat my favorite food... Not sure is it real or mental... Hungry...

This is my first post btw. :)

They said I'd my pooh is infected then they can't give me anything to clear it up I will just have to let it run its course. They are trying to take me back into hospital but I have 3 autistic kids and no one to help.

The hospital where I had my operation has shut down half of its wards with a bad novo virus just now so they have to make sure I haven't caught it. I was just hoping that this was nothing serious and it other people may have had a similar thing. I know that sounds really selfish but I don't mean it to. Just wanted to know I wasn't the only one.

Hi there. I was sleeved on the 7th and went home on the 8th. I feel very fortunate that I haven't really felt any pain or nausea. I am struggling a bit to get my full fluids in and Protein and have been averaging only 35 Proteins and 40 ounces of liquid. The shakes are so sweet it is hard to get them down. Yesterday, I tried Tomato Soup and it was fantastic. (4oz). I bought some frozen fruit and am going to try that in a shake with some orange Vitamin Water zero and a scoop of protein. I need something other than this chalky shake taste. I also drove for the first time yesterday, but just locally. I am down 10 lbs since surgery and quite thrilled.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
