IS there anyone out there that could pass on some pointers on to how I can get to losing weight again? It seems that I have had my surgery 6 weeks ago and stuck at the 30 lbs weight loss. And not moving. Am I doing something wrong??? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I will be 6 weeks out next Thursday. For 6 days I didn't lose a pound. Weighed myself yesterday and I had dropped four. Im sure you are doing everything right. From what I have read on here we will encounter many stalls along the way. Good luck!!

I'm 5 weeks and at a stall! So annoying, but I expected this from what I've read on the forum.

I am 5 months out and this is your first of many stalls, trust me. I have lost 85 pounds n been stuck there for bout a week. It's just your body going into "starvation mode". It will store fat thinking that your starving because of your change in eating habits. It's super annoying, but part of it :) good luck on your journey, it's tough but wonderful :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
