  8. Hows life been in ur first week? A friend of mine had hers done on June 19 and is already down over 30 lbs. So i have a couple of people locally as well as our local weight loss surgery support group which consits of 8-10 people but oddly enough alot of them are male. Im pretty open about my weight with family and close friends but the embarressment is still there with strangers. I cant wait to change my life and be able to wear normal clothes like all the other ppl my age.
  9. Really that is awesome, my boyfriend lives in Henderson. I do in home care so I get to watch my clients eat after i cook for them. It's the fumes that get me! I couldn't imagine having a whole line full of food, but are you allowed to go outside. I would go get a breath of fresh air maybe?

  13. My 6 months is also up in september and i have the same estimated time for surgery. my insurance only takes a week to a week and a half to decide, but im guessing i will have to submit it more than once. Im really excited to hear all of your progress. I also feel that i am gainin weight on this 6 month diet, but i had an acl surgery and gained 5 lbs and am in the process of getting it off, not happy about it. As far as the medifast. I never heard about the 'not hungry stage of ketosis.' I didn't feel hungry after awhile though. the only time i was actually hungry was having to watch people eat. if i got out of the room or kept myself busy it wasn't too bad. This forum keeps me sticking to my plans and keeps my hopeful. I love to hear success stories and nsvs!
  14. Anybody out there. Im about 3 1/2 hrs from denver. Feeling kinda alone out here on the plains. : ) lookin for support buddies. I have 2/6 months left for insurance prereqs. And then hopefully end of september early october i will be a brand new sleever. Im 23 5'7 295. Very excited. Cant quit thinkin about it.
  15. Ive been hearing that mecico is actually not a bad place to have.surgery like all the stereotypes. I hope it works out for you. Hope this im not prying how much is ur self pay in mexico. The self pay option here (if my insurance denies me) i think is 12,500 with 150$/ month payments.
