I'm getting waaay excited. It used to be 5 more months....3 more months... now that August is here I have this month and then next month I will be sending everything to insurance. If they deny me I will be getting sleeved late Oct and if I am accepted then it will be end of september or the very beginning of October!! Eeek I cant wait for my new life to begin. I just turned 24 July 29 and my vow is by the time 25 rolls around this chica will be RockiN her sleeve in the century club.

So about 2 yrs ago I went to a carnival they have by my house every yr and was actually told I couldn't go on one of the rides because the seatbelt didn't fit and it was a saftey hazard..I was soo embarresed I just left..the person I was with tried making a joke about it to make me feel better but I was scarred and hadn't attempted a carnival again until this yr.. mind u I'm 7 mths post op and down 65lbs but I was still worried .... so hear I am on the line for the zipper asking what the weight limit is for the ride and the guy looks at me like I'm crazy.. he said trust me ur no where near it... happy to say I fit on the ride very comfortably and it was by far one of the best experiences ive had since my surgery...just wanted to share my story because ive been o erweight my whole life and I know its the little successes that mean the most

awesome. it's always good to see sleevers close by. Im in Nebraska, about 3 1/2 hours from denver. Sleeve date is end of sept early october, hopefully the earlier one, im too anxious. Work ur sleeve!

Hello! I'm in downtown Denver and would love to be your buddy haha. Trust me I didn't know how bad I wanted someone else who had gone thru this until I went to pay for my surgery and the accounting lady told me she had had it done! It was like she was exactly what I needed. She got me so excited just by the fact that we could chat openly and not be embarrassed. And then again when I found this site, no one truly understands unless they are going thru it or have gone thru it. Everyone is unique but we also need to relate to someone. So guess what - you have a new friend!!
Oh btw I'm Nikki, I am 1 week post op!

wow you look absolutley amazing! It doesn't look like you need the shapewear. Sooo jelly haha. I can't wait to be two years out and telling my own story let alone getting my sleeve in a couple months. Congratulations on the pregnancy definatley keep us updated about how that goes! You look like you are doing very well and you can see how happy you are in your pictures!

I haven't got a date yet, but my doctor estimates mid to late September. Can't wait!

I'm 23. I'm currently undergoing the 6 month pre req . For my insurance. Last Nutritionist appt we talked about late September early October for the surgery date. I'm afraid Im obsessed with thinking about it. I absolutely cannot wait to do this. Started medifast in Jan. 2012 lost 30 lbs gained 5lbs back. I'm 5'7, 319 was my starting weight I weighed in at 294 this past nut. Appt. wanting sleeve buddies to undergo this with. My mom is having sleeve done in July. but id like to hear how younger Sleevers are doin as well. Very curious ! I've been overweight my entire life and Im tired of living in this fat shell Thanks
