I used to be a huge pizza fan, and still to this day like the taste of cheesy roni-goodness! But I don't like the carb part of it, the bread is just too much and fills me and it has no nutritional value anyways. But when I do have that craving, I make a recipe of my father in laws. Take a large zucchini, the ones that overgrow in the garden, and slice it about a quarter to half an inch thick. Coat them in whisked egg (no flour). Then as soon as they are coated in the egg, put them on a greased skillet and cook them until nice and toasty brown both sides (this part makes the house smell like french toast. Line the cooked zuchinni's on a baking sheet, top with marinara, cheese, and other toppings. Bake to let the toppings heat and melt, then enjoy! Really good as leftovers too!

The cauliflower crust pizza is awesome! I don't even like cauliflower but it doesn't even seem like you are eating cauliflower.

I tried the cauliflower crust pizza and it was so good. I made it with chopped up chicken and low fat pepperoni so it had some good Protein. I definitely recommend you all try it :o)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
