  3. I don't see the harm. Your back to full liquids and it's decaf. It would have been fine on my full liquid diet. The skim milk has protein.
  4. I think this was the first thanksgiving for a lot of us. I think I have done awe some compared to other years. My acid reflux is out of control. Taking tums , zantac and nexium. I think it's a matter of blowing it for me but eating smaller portions of rich foods like stuffing. My body is used to the same kinds of foods. Tomorrow I need to let my acid relfux heal. Guess I better do some googling. On the positive side down 52.5 pounds and down to a size 12from an 18/20. All amazing journeys have trials. Tonight mine is chewing enough tums. Lol Merry Christmas
  5. Bariatric advantage has hot chocolate. I had it several times right after surgery might need to break it back out it was good
  6. You look great! Congrats. You look wonderful in your costume. Keep up the good work!
  7. Zofran is my best friend. My surgeon gave it to me after surgery and my PCP has refilled it for me. I keep it in my purse because you never know when it will hit. It works wonders and doesn't make you tired

  9. Wow that is great! Congrats on feeling better. It's always great to see the scale go down but it's even better when you feel it. Keep up the good work!
  10. I would try to make healthier versions of what you are craving. Tonight my husband and I were at Sam's. We found a kashi pizza. It still has carbs but they are healthy carbs and higher protein. It was good and I was satisfied with a really small piece. I also made the cauliflower pizza. The recipe is on here.
  11. Wow congrats! If you don't mind me asking how tall are you? You look great! What an inspiration.
  12. Indy, what was the name of the creme from hsn? Thanks

  15. Jennrus, I'm sorry you felt judged. You are right that this should be an environment where you can discuss feelings and get encouragement. I personally think the feelings and thoughts you have are normal I think it has more to do with how our view of food has been altered. We now struggle to eat or get enough food in. It is common for food to turn my stomach. So to see people eat after I've eaten my little portion can make me nauseous. Maybe it has less to do with what or how much someone else is eating but more to do with our new reaction to food. I just remind myself in those moments of "disgust " that I am truly blessed with a new life.
  16. I can't tolerate the same protein shakes I could right after surgery. They too make me sick. The only one I tolerate is the Premier. I get them from Sam's No funky after taste. If you can manage to tolerate them they have 30 grams of protein Good luck. I hope it gets better for you!
  17. Vitamin water zero is my favorite! I get them by the case at Sam's.
  18. The only thing I really used was chap stick. Good luck!
