Only 25 Down, But At Least There Are 25 Gone!

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on May 24 of this year. The first two weeks, the weight came off vigorously! I wish I could say the same since then. Fortunately, a measly 25 lbs makes the biggest different already in how I feel physically and mentally. I am steadily losing ounces day by day, so at least I've not gained or completely stalled. Keeping the faith!

These are before and after pics so far! The one in the silver dress is before.

You do look great in both pictures... You are very beautiful, very stylish. I too had surgery on 5/24 and have also lost only 25 pounds and in the same manner... First two weeks were a major drop, a pound here or there for the next week and a half and nothing for a week now. It's a little aggravating because I'm impatient but I'm positive it will get moving again. If I lose slowly like this for the next year I will still be happy. Are you exercising? I started about 2 weeks ago but not intensely. I'm amping it up this week. Just out of curiosity what are your stats? I'm a shorty @ 5'2". Started at 215 and now I'm 190. My starting BMI was 38. I'm not sure if that's what the consider a low BMI'er or not. Good luck to you!

Hi! I believe my BMI was also 38 or 39. I am 5'10 and started at 270. I am at 245 now. I started Zumba three days a week two weeks ago, and I started losing weight a little more quickly.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
