I had mine done at Southern Surgical in Slidell on July 11. I had the same experience with them as you.....fantastic!!!! Only really had about 75-80 lbs to lose.......lost 50 in 2 1/2 months. Hadn't lost any more YET. Would do it again all over again.

I had my sleeve done by Surgical Specialists of Louisiana in Metairie. I also work in plant... I was sleeved Oct 4th and went back to work ' date=' Tues, Oct 9th. The Crescent City Surgical Center was more like a hotel... It was awesome![/quote']

I can't believe you went back so early! I couldn't imagine going back at 2 weeks much less 5 days! I work mainly outside and my job is way too physical. My tools weigh more than me and I have to ride a bicycle so my stomach being crushed with every stride was not attractive. Kudos to you!

Oh, no...Angel... I work at a plant, but in an office. I would never had been able to go back do soon if I worked in the field! You will need a few weeks off! Even sitting behind my desk has not been the easiest this week. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!!

11 days and counting down! It is starting to become a reality!

My surgery is TOMORROW!!! So much to do today. I can't believe it's FINALLY here. Equal parts nervous and excited...

Watch out for the CO2 pain. Mine was almost unbearable. Just walk as much as you canif you get that pain. You are making a great choice! I wish you all the best!!!!

I live in Slidell and had mine done by Dr. Rachel Moore at Surgical Specialists of Louisiana. I can't believe no one else has used them! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She even signed for me to be off of work for 4 weeks because I work in a plant and was worried about not being able to get enough fluids in. Southern Surgical Hospital in Slidell was so nice and the staff were extremely friendly. My mother lives in Houston and is going to have it done here. My family was amazed at how wonderful evening was.

I had my Sleeve on September 17th and I am 25 lbs down <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I'm in Slidell too!
