  11. Thanks for being supportive and not bashing me..means a lot!!!
  12. I'm exactly 9 months post-op and I'm still scared ill fail even though I've lost 60+ lbs and changed my eating habits. I think that fear will keep me honest and I do t really want to lose it. I need to remember that this is MY LAST CHANCE. It's literally Do or Die!
  13. I have to look at this every once and a while... I AM doing this.
  14. This a marathon...not a sprint...this is a marathon...not a sprint...this is a marathon...
  15. Thanks!! I'm trying to give myself credit for how far I've come instead of focusing on how far I still have to go, but I'm notoriously hard on myself...
  16. I've had insomnia since surgery last October. I can fall asleep relatively easily, but I have a helluva time staying asleep. I've tried lots of things (melatonin, sleepytime tea, lavender spray, noise machine, etc.) to no avail. I think my next step is something by prescription bc I fear it's hampering my weight loss. I'm exhausted by the end of the work day and don't exercise some days bc of it. I also find myself hungrier on the days when I sleep the least. Is that "all in my head"?
  17. Had my follow up with my surgeon today and I've only lost 11lbs since my last appointment. I was hoping for closer to 20!! Trying to focus on how far I've come (63lbs lost!) and not how far I still have to go. BLAH.
  18. I use Click in my morning Protein shake. I get my caffeine, it adds good protein and it tastes good! I'm 8 months out and I'll drink coffee with sugar free creamer and Splenda if I'm seriously dragging butt!
  19. Hey look...I found my chin!!!
  20. I literally only weigh at the doctor's office every 3 months. Had my DH take the scale out if the house 2 weeks after surgery bc I couldn't stay off of it! It's been the absolute right choice for me. I can still tell when I stall (I have to increase my calories to break them, btw!) and I know when I'm losing. Lots of people weigh once a week on a certain day. Just find what works for you and doesn't drive you mad!!
  21. Holy crap!! You look 15 years younger. Great work!
  22. I've definitely started losing hair! It's really freaking me out despite my efforts to remain calm. Good lord I don't want to be bald.
