  1. Praying all goes well for you today!! You will do great!
  2. I was sleeved 10/4/2012. I finally reached my goal!! I feel wonderful and have sooo much energy! Congrats to everyone and Good Luck to the people about to be Sleeved. It's worth it!!
  3. My 6 month surgiversary was 4/4/2013. I'm not sure how to post before and after pics, but here goes...hope they come out. Before After (Today, in fact, while I was goofing off with my daughter at the park)
  4. Chills562 - I wish I could eat bread easier! It doesn't like me too much! I wouldn't think you could stretch out your sleeve in 4 months, but you should ask your doc. On another note: I went to the doc Tuesday and the NP told me that I needed to cut my calories down to 600/day and increase my exercise 5x/week!! I am going to just die! My 10 year old keeps me running as it is and I work an hour from my house!
  5. I don't ever feel "hungry". I have bubbles, that's about it.
  6. Surgery Date 10/4.... Total weight loss so far 62lbs!! Current weight 175... Size 14!!

  9. Yeah!! I am sooo happy for you!! Keep us posted!
  10. Wow!! Congratulations!! You look like a different person!
  11. I drink coffee every day... No restrictions on coffee.
  12. I was allowed my coffee all along, but every doc is different. I don't know what I would do without my java in the morning!!
  13. I bought them at my surgeon's office, but you can get them online at http://store.americanbariatrics.org/.
  14. Saw the doc yesterday... No more Wheat Thins for me! He would prefer I eat Protein Chips. They are pretty good, but they don't go down as easily. Oh well... Life goes on!
  15. I'm so excited for you!!! To answer your question, yes, I took a Verapamil to keep myself in check. Prior to surgery, I took a pill every day. The nurse practitioner did tell me to explain to the staff when I checked in that the Verapamil was for Tachycardia and not blood pressure. They don't want you taking blood pressure meds, but they let me have it for Tachycardia. Good luck on December 11th! Keep me posted!
  16. Congratulations on your surgery tomorrow!! Take Care and God Bless You!
  17. I need to get off of the Wheat Thins. They are becoming a staple in my Diet. They are Reduced Fat, but its like I have to eat them! They make me feel normal. I quit smoking a year and a half ago... and now no Diet Coke or comfort foods since August. I don't want to trade my old addictions with a Wheat Thin addiction!
  18. I plan on having 1/2 of a deviled egg, a tiny piece of turkey, a spoon of smothered green beans..... And a couple of hours later.... Maybe a bite of my awesome Pecan pie. Oh.... I was sleeved Oct 4th!
  19. Thank goodness you can still have your sleeve done in the near future! I have SVT... It's just an extra circuit around my heart that makes my heart beat really fast sometimes. I was diagnosed at 37 years old. My cardiologist says that my heart is very healthy.... He said that if anyone's heart rate can go from normal to 233 without having any flaws (ex:heart attack ) that I have a healthy heart. Good luck with your future sleeve!! Keep us posted!!!
  20. I LOVE my 1/4 cup of oatmeal with 3 squirts of Parkay, 1 Splenda and a little pour of Silk Light!!
  21. Protein drinks and water... I was stalled at 3 weeks so I just made myself concentrate on just protein and water. You can do it! Our weight does fluctuate. The doc said to take 2 sips of Milk of Magnesia every hour until I go when constipation hits. Usually takes 2 hours...lol
