I turned 41 this past June... I have a 22 year old son and 10 year old daughter that keep me young. I just wish these lines would stop multiplying... Haha!! Oh, I was sleeved Oct. 4th and have lost a total of 34lbs.

No, sorry.... But, I haven't had a cycle in 7 years because I take a depo shot. Well, well... The surgery gave me a cycle!! I am not a happy camper. If it can do that, nothing would surprise me!!

Explain this to me please!! I can only drink 2oz of water at a time, but... I just mixed 16oz of water and 2 scoops of protein in the blender (I was going to drink a bit and save a lot for later).... I just drank the whole thing!! What is up?!? No bubbles, no hiccups, nothing???

Oh, no...Angel... I work at a plant, but in an office. I would never had been able to go back do soon if I worked in the field! You will need a few weeks off! Even sitting behind my desk has not been the easiest this week. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!!

I had my sleeve done by Surgical Specialists of Louisiana in Metairie. I also work in plant... I was sleeved Oct 4th and went back to work , Tues, Oct 9th. The Crescent City Surgical Center was more like a hotel... It was awesome!

I was sleeved Oct 4th... And only have two incisions on each side of my belly button and he used my belly button for one!! My poor belly button looks double the size now! Was anyone else sleeved like this?

I had my sleeve last Thursday and went home Friday morning. The only pain I had was gas pains. It feels like a heavy cramping menstrual cycle. Last night I walked a mile... That really started moving the bloated feeling. Everyone is different, but you will make it. The hardest for me was day 1.... Good Luck and Congrats!!

My pre op nurse told me that my vision would be blurry and not to fret. The anti nausea meds that I take has this side effect. I am blurry up close but ok far away. I know my vision is good though because I saw my eye doc (he performed my LASIK) not too long before my surgery.

Oh, yes! I couldn't walk because It hurt my back, but my friend came over every night and we rode our bikes thru my neighborhood! I had not ridden since I was young... It was so much fun and low impact on your joints. I was sleeved in the 4th, so I have to wait until Day 5 to ride.... I can't wait !!

My doc let me have coffee from day 1. He said that it wouldn't hurt me as long as I add a sugar substitute and lite, non dairy creamer. I love my coffee... I am only able to sip 1/4 of a small coffee cup though. Oh, I was sleeved Oct 4th. Good luck!

I was sleeved on 10/4... Cherry Chapstick was a life saver!! My lips stayed dry the first night!

Good for you!! Keep thinking positive thoughts. I was sleeved Thurs. 10/4. The painful gas inside is not in our intestinal tract, but in the cavity where the surgeon worked his magic! I, too, am ready to eat, but not because I am hungry. My husband is an awesome cook!
