I'm still waiting for my surgery date. Medicare has yet to pre-authorize my surgery. I'm in NY. Anyway I've slacked off and when I last visited my surgeon I had regained the few pounds I managed to lose. I want to start getting back on track. I want to start using Fitness Pal and Fitbit again. It cam take at least a couple of months more before I actually get a surgery date but I am wondering if you all think it would be a good idea to start my gym membership now so I can Start with cardio and hopefully toning. I have flab in my belly and I am afraid of the additional flab after surgery so I want to do something to it. I'm 38. I probably won't be able to afford excess skin removal surgery and not sure if my insurance would cover it anyway. So...what do you guys think? Start exercising? Yes or no? How long would I have to stop post surgery?
