3 Months Before/after Pic
Hi, It has been 3 months (12 weeks) today since surgery. May 18th was my day!! I am 32 and 5 ft 3 in. My starting weight was 246. As of Today I have lost 41 pounds and am halfway to goal. I went from size 18 jeans to 14. This has been the best decision of my life!! I have had a few stalls but never lasting over a 2 weeks. I eat at least 70-90 grams of protein each day. If I don't get enough protein I feel real hungry all day. I usually eat 600-800 calories each day. I have taken vitamins and extra biotin every day since surgery. But I still have had some hair loss that started around 2 months. It is not noticeable and I think it may be slowing. My favorite protein supplement is Unjury. I don't eat red meat or pork anymore. If you have any questions that I didn't answer please ask! I will update again when I get closer to goal.

Pain, Left Side :(
For me it took the longest time for my left side to stop hurting. Just when I thought it was better I would feel it again. It felt like it was bottom rib at times. I am 7 weeks post op and it just stopped maybe a week or so ago. My doctor said that is the area they do the most work from and take your stomach out from. So I would call and ask the doctor. I hope it gets better soon!

Killer Cravings
The day of surgery I wanted Mexican food So bad!!! Its all I thought about. Just 1 bite!! Lol But after a few weeks the cravings did ease up. And I too would rather have a pickle that anything!! I am 5 weeks out and decided to peel a pickle and eat a few bites 2 days ago. What a mistake!!! My stomach bloated real fast and the pickle went right through me! I wonder when we can have pickles again?!?

No More Complaining
When was your sleeve date? I had mine 5/18 and lost 11 pounds the first 4 days but nothing since then. I am getting so discouraged! :-)

Nerves
I agree with all the others, it is totally normal. I was real nervous until the morning of surgery. I just got super happy and excited! Everything went so perfect and it was all over real fast. I have a 8 and 9 year old one in which is a type 1 diabetic. So I know how you feel! Good luck and you will do great!!

2 Years Sleeved
Thank you so much for sharing! I had my surgery 5/18 and your story is the first I have seen with a surgery 2 years ago. I always see stories of people who had surgery within the year. Everyone is always curious of long time success stories. I am so happy for you and thanks again for your inspirational story!! I am so excited to have long success like you!
