Oh my goodness this is soooo true (AT least in OUR household!) My hubby is sleeved and has neither the time nor desire to join a message board. He learned everything he knows about the sleeve from me! Which is ok. I don't mind being his mentor, and together we have lost almost 170lbs and both look and FEEL 10 years younger. So all is well with us, but I have to just put in here that generally the men aren't as "chatty" as the women. Just how it is!

see... i love when the men come out of the woodworks.. lol.. and i can understand that us woman are in generall more "chatty" than men but i guess i like the guy perspective on things sometimes, this is gonna come out funny... but... i like a little testosterone in our forum on occasion.. lol

Between work, exercise, and taking on some extra responsibilities around the house since my wife is in nursing school and working it seems all my computer time has disappeared...but I wouldn't trade anything for how I feel right now.

Three months ago it was a chore to get off the couch, now I look for an excuse to not go sit on the couch. The only down side is how easy it is to start spending lots of money as I find all of these new projects around the house I want do now. Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot stock should be doing well the past couple of months.

lol i feel ya on the $$$ part... damn projects..lol

Haha. This entire thread makes me happy.

:D Im right cheer !

I be here too. I'm about a month pre-op and having the preparatory tests done. Sleep study, scope down the throat, counseling, ultrasound. I think my surgeon has ordered evry single test possible for me! He is on record as reccomending a RNY, but the more I read about the sleeve, the more I am definately going with it. I have a high BMI and am afraid that I won't get to where I want to be. (Thin) I am so sick of being fit and all of the crap that comes along with it that I want to get down to almost skinny. I want to be able to walk and walk and walk. So sick of being almost disabled.

Ahh, TMI you say? OK, getting off my soap box.

Not TMI at all. You're right where I was 5 months ago. Now I can walk and and walk. No doubt in my mind you can get there if you put the work in and follow the program.

Im here! Just a lil scared of all these skinny, smart, beautiful women. That should win me some brownie points >big smile<
