Where did you notice the loss first?

So, scale aside, what are some of the places you first noticed your weight-loss? Here's what I noticed first:

My calves got thinner

My face

And my upper arms (biceps)

Just recently I noticed my bra seemed a bit large. Sure enough, "the girls" have shrank significantly (thank God).

I really want to see more in my waist and hips now!

Tell me yours! I thought it was weird to lose in my calves first...haha!

Face neck shoulders and wrists and hands. I'm happy my girls are hanging in there...if anything boobs are getting bigger. Weird.

Perhaps it isn't that they are getting any bigger, but the rest of you is getting smaller? Then they look bigger on your body?

Hey, it happens to some guys in a different part of the body.... :o

Hi!

My face first, and belly. Then, all of a sudden, I have ankles and could buy nice open toe sandals!

Luka Beth, I think that because you are getting smaller, the boobs seem bigger. Lol

I have noticed it in my face definitely.. But I do look overall smaller.. It's a nice feeling to here my boss tell me how great I'm looking especially because she isn't one for giving compliments :) felt good. :)

My hands had to get my rings sized, should have it done again but I have chosen speed bumps so they don't spin on my finger. Other than that I haven't seen too much change.

For me, it was:

Tummy (after swelling went down)

Boobies

Face

Neck

Behind

Waistline

I'm a new bandster and I've noticed:

Face

Shoulders

Waist

Calves

Legs

Feet

Waistline ( always the last to go)

Bra sizes ( getting too big)

My face and my tummy first. Seems like everything else took forever!

First my face, shoulders, side arms. Now my belly, waist and hips. Oh and my wrist, which is weird.

Face and stomach. Face is the most obvious for me.

I lost a whole shoe size, my pants got longer (or is that thighs thinner?), I had to have my wedding rings re-made with a hinge because they kept spinning so much even the hump would not work.

My Tiffany necklace that was a choker (not meant to be) now sits beautifully on my neck. My face is WAY different (see my before and after pics on my profile). I don't recognize myself in old photos.

Congrats, Cocoabean!! And LoL @"not supposed to be"

Hey, at least you HAVE old photos... I probably have ONE at my biggest (before losing 40 on Atkins) and that's it!

Take pictures! I don't have pics of me at my biggest either because like most heavy people, I hated how I looked. I regret that now. Because the best advice I got from a fellow bandster was to take pictures, every week, without fail. And in the weeks where the scale didn't move, those pictures kept me going.
