  1. I'm in ct, In my state if it is medically needed which yes it is if you are over weight then insurance covers 100% dr appointments everything. And not just state insurance either medicare and others also.. Check with different insurance company's you will be surprised how informed they are about weightless surgeries
  2. I have noticed it in my face definitely.. But I do look overall smaller.. It's a nice feeling to here my boss tell me how great I'm looking especially because she isn't one for giving compliments felt good.
  3. When my band slipped I couldn't eat or drink anything I could hardly hold down Water, it would feel like I ate a really big meal.. When it was actually a sip of water.. I would throw up anything I tried eating. Mine slipped twice.. Both times they removed the Fluid from my band 4cc the first time and the 3cc the second time. He tried refilling it to see if it would go back because it only slipped very little the first time.. But 3 weeks later it slipped again, they removed the fluid again and I have some restriction still but not as much.. Trying to watch what I eat so I don't gain but I will see my surgeon on August 5th.. Hopefully we can do the surgery soon.
  4. Just had X-rays done at the emergency room and my band slipped. The attending said he is calling my surgeon... I'm sure they are going to remove it but will they either put another one or will they do the sleeve or something.. I'm only 6months out! I'm so sad

  6. What is the actual reason that banded people can't drink carbonated beverages.. Is it because the gas causes our stomachs to expand? That's all I can think of
