January 2013 Bandsters Unite

Happy New Year from Germany! To those like me who have January 2013 dates to be banded...my prayers to you for a successful surgery and a new YOU!

For those waiting on approvals or just to make up your mind...YOU WILL GET THERE...JUST HOLD ON. I have patience, but truly learned patience waiting on those little green people at the insurance company to say YES!

Speak positive, stay positive, be positive. If you know God...PRAY. He will see each of you thru this journey. I've read many posts and I have laughed, cried, gotten mad, sympatized and rejoiced with many of you through your expressions on LBT. And you have encouraged me to continue to move forward toward my goal.

Success in 2013 to each of you.

:-)

My surgery was 13 days ago and I'm feeling back to normal. I go back to work on Thursday! I get my first fill on Valentines day (funny huh)

@beckeeboo25 when did you feel back to normal? I was just banded on yesterday.

To those asking I was banded on Jan. 2nd and feel great. I am 3 weeks out tomorrow n felt back to normal on day 7. I had a huge appetite on that day n thank God the doc okayed me for blended food cause the protein was a big help. He told me on that day to start exercising n to drink lots of water. I have not got a fill yet n have been eating about 1 cup of food 3-4 Times a day. I feel pretty satisfied for the most part. Just been trying to learn to eat between 20-30 min.

I really started feeling better around day 10. The first week I stayed on the pain meds and slept a lot! Once I got off the meds and moving around, I started feeling like myself again! Hang in there, you will feel yourself in no time :)

I just got home. Surgery was a success I did have a hernia they had to repair. Dont know how I got that. Ive been walking but im sooo tired from not having anything. I hit my goal of 50 lbs lost before surgery. I know have 65 to go to reach my goal of 154. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hey keyshab congrats and welcome to the other side.

Keyshab Congrats!!! I was banded yesterday.

I'm officially a bandster! Surgery was great but too much 'happy juice' so I slept almost all day. Walked to get rid of gas and it worked! Thanks to all for your posts...it really helped to know what to expect.

..

Today is my day... nervous as hell!!! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers... its today at noon (est)
