January 2013 Bandsters Unite

Happy New Year from Germany! To those like me who have January 2013 dates to be banded...my prayers to you for a successful surgery and a new YOU!

For those waiting on approvals or just to make up your mind...YOU WILL GET THERE...JUST HOLD ON. I have patience, but truly learned patience waiting on those little green people at the insurance company to say YES!

Speak positive, stay positive, be positive. If you know God...PRAY. He will see each of you thru this journey. I've read many posts and I have laughed, cried, gotten mad, sympatized and rejoiced with many of you through your expressions on LBT. And you have encouraged me to continue to move forward toward my goal.

Success in 2013 to each of you.

:-)

Any time suga! I've been trolling the forum for many months now lol. I know much of the acronyms...

I am 36 hrs post op I feel pretty good. We went from softball size sore spot in each shoulder to golf ball sized overnight.(gas).

@kca1fan how is your stomach feeling.

@kca1fan how is your stomach feeling.

not bad little painful at times

@kca1fan thats good all my gas pain is in my stomach only. Did you stay over night in the hospital or come home afterwards.

I too am 36 hours out of surgery. Not sure if this pain in my stomach is gas, incision, or hunger. I've been icing but I may try heat. Walking walking walking has helped with the gas in my shoulders but doing nothing for the gas in my tummy. When does the belly bloating go away?

Despite the pain, I am super hopeful and excited to start my new banded life...

Banded Monday and gas in my tummy is still there. Not as bad, but still there

Today is my day. I'm on my way to the hospital now! So nervous but so happy and appreciative to have this opportunity to better my life.
