Oooooh tattoos on your side of your torso are so pretty. I have a friend who used to be really fat, then she moved to New York City to go to college. She is broke and doesn't eat much and walks around all day and she ended up loosing tons of weight. She just got a tree tattooed on her side and its so beautiful. I have a big tattoo on my lower back, its a peacock and it starts in the middle of my back and winds down to my right butt cheek, I call it my glorified tramp stamp haha. I would love to add more to it, to have more flowers going up my back or something, right now there are big fat rolls in the way, haha when I got it done I had to make sure the peacocks head would not dissapear when I stood up lol!

OH and Dolly Lala, the same friend with the tree tattoo gave me this tidbit back when she was fat, if you know your gonna be walking around all day, put some deodorant on your inner thighs, I use secret clinical strength. I went to Provincetown in Cape Cod on Saturday, and all we did was walk around outside the whole day. In the car before we got out I put on deodorant on my inner thighs and was able to walk around for 5 hours in a denim mini skirt without having to reapply! I didn't have any painful chafing issues and couldn't have been more comfortable! Try it out!

Oh, your tattoo sounds so pretty! Do you have any pictures of it? I love seeing pictures and hearing the stories behind them. What's the story behind the peacock? It sounds beautiful.

I have a running horse on the small of my back, surrounded by aqua stars that form the pisces constellation. I also have a small heart and Celtic knot at the top of my back, and also a Rilo Kiley lyric on my left clavical.

Since I was like, 10 years old I always wanted a peacock tattoo lol, I just love birds and I love peacocks, at a zoo about an hour from my house they have peacocks just wild and running around the park, its so cool, they are pretty shy but occasionally will come into the food court area and take food from your hand. So when I went to get my first tattoo I knew I wanted a peacock, no special reason. I love Rilo Kiley! What lyric is it!? I have a lyric from a neutral milk hotel song on my foot. I'll try to have someone take a picture of my tattoo, I used to have a couple but they were camera phone pics that got lost when I got my new phone.

It's from "Portions For Foxes."

I have, "Baby, I'm bad news" tattooed on my left clavical. I picked out Cygnet Round as the font to use, and had it done in hot pink ink.

im all for the vintage pin up photo shoot that sounds awesome

personally id like to buy cute panties with cartoons on them might be silly but i think my ass would look great with a little hello kitty on it.

i would also like to see that lady between my legs, its been some time since i could see her with out first moving my tummy. mostly though, i'd like to have sex in different positions, my poor husband has to be so bored with our sex life. we always to the same thing, so yes sex in different positions would be magical!:thumbup::eek:

Allison: Thanks! I love it. It's my little disclaimer. ;)

ichatter: I know what you mean about being the girl who dances on the table at least once. I think I should dance on a bar once. If just to say that I've done something crazy. I hope you get your chance!

AngelMae2105: Aww! You should totally get your tattoo when you reach your goal! Honestly, I was always a little shy going to the tattoo shop, but I've built a rep with my artist, so there's no more uncomfortable feeling there. The first time, though, I was terrified! Once you get to your goal, though, and you're feeling awesome and completely accomplished, you could walk into a tattoo shop like you bought and paid for it. :)

Hahaha I might try to take one when I get my new camera some time this week, right now I only have a crappy cell phone camera that does me no justice, haha. The pic might have a bit of crack in it if no one minds hehehe.

It's been a while since I've been here, but I've got a good one. I want a half sleeve tattoo. I don't know of what, but I've never gotten any tattoos because being a big guy I can't really show them off. But as soon as I loose the weight, I'm gonna get some

Okay, I'm at least 100 years older than most of you posting on this thread;however, old ladies have goals and dreams too. LOL. I have been super responsible my entire life. So, now this year I'm turning 35, starting nursing school in January, and hopefully will be at goal soon after. I want a really sexy, hot, cool tattoo. I want to do something that no one would ever expect of me. So, I guess basically I'm a 35 year old (well almost) doing the rebellious stuff I never did the first time around!

~ Fat people clothes aren't terribly cute. I have a fabulous sense of style. I'd like to utilize it.

~ Going for an early morning jog without fear of instantly killing my knees.

~ Having doors held and chairs pulled out for me.

~ The silken sensation of thigh highs and garter belts.

~ Cute panties.

~ Boxing.

~ Appreciative glances.

~ Having the confidence and self-worth to respond positively when men

show an interest.

~ A better social life.

~ Not stressing over the poor example I set for my little sisters.

~ Saving on my grocery bill.

~ Saving on my gas bill. That's right. The more you weigh, the more gas

your vehicle uses.

~ Eating in public without receiving strange glances.

~ Having people recognize me for the wonderful person that I am instead

discounting me as someone who doesn't matter, as I'm merely a fat and

lazy individual.

There's more, but I'll take these for now.

I love it! Those are great goals.

I wanna screw with my ex-husbands head and make the girl he left me for (just after giving birth to our son) wicked parinoid.

Wear sexy clothes to work like the suits from Victoria Secrets

Of course the bikini goal

and I'd love to take sexy Boudoir photos for my boyfirend

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.

Some days I feel like an infiltrator... I'm participating in society as a "thin" person. They have no idea that I haven't always been one of them! 🤣

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!
